My Little Sponge

So I was driving to the gym this morning and decided to put in something with a little more of a beat than the kids' CDs we have in the player. I was listening to Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls" song when we arrived at the gym. As we're walking to the door, Luke is singing the main words he got from the song - "suicidal, suicidal, suicidal". That was the only word he could remember. (For those of you not familiar with the song, Kingston is singing about girls being too beautiful (out of his league) for him)
So, there's another song I can only listen to when I'm in the car alone, which is close to never. These kids and their spongelike brains soaking everything up!

Aaagh! I know the feeling. I can't even listen to talk radio because the hosts say "stupid" too much. Instantly I hear from the backseat, "He said 'stupid', we should turn this off." What other option do you have at that point!?!

Doug's favorite song is Britney Spears' WOMANIZER. He sings the "womanizer, woman, womanizer, you're a womanizer."
Dean loves Pink's "SO WHAT!"
Yeah, he thinks it's great that she says "And you're a tool..."

E used to LOVE singing along to that song on the radio when we lived back east. She also got basically that one main word "suicidal" and boy did she sing it with gusto! lucky me, she never sang it in public ... not that I remember at least.

Avery of course wanted to know what that meant when she heard the song - it's such a fun song though. I can't even listen to talk radio anymore. Classical for us most of the time. It's just easier. And Jack J. is aways safe.
